Coming from a background steeped in the property management industry, Tiffany honed her skills and expertise as Executive Assistant to the founder of KLS Associates, a company with close ties to BRHC Board Member Kathy Snowden. Her career initially kicked off as an accountant and bookkeeper, working closely with rental property owners - a testament to her financial acumen and keen eye for detail.
During her tenure at KLS Associates, Tiffany made a profound impact by becoming intimately familiar with the intricate rules and regulations governing Berkeley's rental housing.

Beyond her property management prowess, she has a dual academic background, having earned a B.A. and a Master of Fine Arts from UCLA. Her artistic flair undoubtedly brings a unique and creative perspective to her work, making her an invaluable asset to the team.

Tiffany spent 35 years as a renter, bringing a wealth of firsthand knowledge to their position as the deputy director. Their extensive background in renting has provided them with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by tenants, enabling them to bridge the gap between housing providers and renters effectively. They use their unique perspective to emphasize the importance of compliance with rental laws to housing providers and highlight the positive impact it can have on the rental experience. Additionally, their long history as a renter allows them to anticipate potential issues and offer practical solutions that enhance the association's educational programs and materials, ensuring they address the real-world concerns of both housing providers and their residents.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Tiffany leads a vibrant life in Oakland, where she resides with her two teenage children. Notably, she's a recent property owner, reflecting her deep-rooted commitment to the principles she advocates for in her career.
