Fair Chance Housing Ordinance: Info & Notices
Berkeley’s Fair Chance Housing Ordinance (FCHO) prohibits most rental housing providers from asking about or considering criminal history
when screening tenants. The goal is to reduce housing barriers for people with prior convictions.
